Pools set to wait for Matty Robson

Posted on 7th September 2007

Hartlepool UnitedHartlepool United manager Danny Wilson must wait on the fitness of Matty Robson before knowing whether he can name an unchanged squad to face Leeds. Robson (groin) was the only fresh injury problem following Pools’ Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat of Chesterfield and he is a doubt for the trip to Elland Road.

Midfield duo Willie Boland and Anthony Sweeney look likely to remain sidelined because of hamstring problems so Andy Monkhouse could return to the side after making a successful comeback from suspension with his first start of the season against Oldham last weekend.

Jamie McCunnie was left out as one of six changes made by Wilson at Saltergate in midweek and he is likely to be restored to the starting XI together with Ian Moore and Robbie Elliott.
