MiddlesbroughMiddlesbrough defender Robert Huth will undergo tests on a foot injury. He could be sidelined for some time. The twenty–two–year–old German international is understood to have damaged his foot in training on Friday and has definitely been ruled out of Saturday's vital Barclays Premiership clash with Wigan at the Riverside Stadium.

"Robert has suffered a foot injury and he will undergo tests during the next 24 hours to assess the damage. He will miss tomorrow's game," said a spokesperson for Middlesbrough.

The news will be a big blow for Middlesbrough however things could get even worse if the tests reveal any significant damage, he could miss several games, and that would be even more disappointing. Huth has had to wait for his chance after recovering from the ankle surgery which initially saw his move to the Riverside put on hold.
